SAS/IML® software does not install properly if your SAS® 9.2 software order for the z/OS operating environment was shipped after November 14, 2010. This problem occurs with the following SAS 9.2 revisions:
To correct this problem, edit the product.xml file that is located in the following directories in your SAS Software Depot:
Add the following lines that are shown in red to this file in both directories. Note that the files are stored in ASCII format.
If you have not already installed your software order, you can make these changes to your SAS Software Depot and SAS/IML will be installed correctly as part of your initial installation.
If you have already installed your software order, you will need to make these changes to your SAS Software Depot and then invoke the SAS® Deployment Wizard (setup.rexx or linemode.rexx) again. Choose Action B to add SAS/IML to your existing installation. If you use the -nojobsubmit option, you will then need to run jobs MAINT0 (which will submit job MKSASINS), MAINT1, and MAINT2, and then run the postInstall.sh script to complete the installation.
